RoboForm: An Easier Way to Manage Your Passwords

RoboForm can make it much easier to manage the many passwords we need for our online accounts. Between email, banking, shopping, social media, business websites, apps, and other online services, keeping track of every password can become a challenge.

I wanted a better way to manage mine, which is why I started using RoboForm.

RoboForm is a password manager that can save login credentials, generate passwords, and fill login information when you visit websites.

It supports major browsers and is available for a variety of computers, smartphones, and tablets.

One feature I especially appreciate is the password generator. Instead of creating another password that is easy to remember and possibly easy for someone else to figure out, you can generate a long, unique password for an account and let the password manager remember it for you.

Think about how many passwords you have.

You may have separate logins for your bank, credit cards, email, utility companies, online stores, social media accounts, streaming services, business tools, and other websites.

Trying to remember a different password for every account can become difficult.

Reusing the same password may be convenient, but it also creates additional risk. If that password is compromised on one service, other accounts using the same password could potentially be at risk.

A password manager makes it easier to use different passwords without having to memorize every one of them.

Create Your Account: Follow RoboForm’s current setup instructions and create your account and Master Password. Your Master Password is especially important because it helps protect access to the information stored in your account.

Add Your Existing Logins: RoboForm can save logins as you use them and also lets you import passwords from supported browsers and other password managers.

Generate New Passwords: When creating or changing an online account, you can use the password generator to create a strong, unique password rather than trying to invent one yourself.

Use Autofill: Once your login has been saved, RoboForm can help fill your credentials when you return to supported websites and apps.

I enjoy using RoboForm because I don’t have to keep a separate book or collection of notes containing all of my passwords.

That’s especially helpful when a generated password looks something like this: 12uHY&er56oo32

I wouldn’t want to memorize a password like that, and that’s the point. A password manager can remember complicated passwords so I don’t have to.

Instead of creating simple passwords just because they’re easier for me to remember, I can use unique passwords for different accounts and access them through my password manager.

RoboForm offers different plans, so it is important to check the current features before choosing one.

The Free plan can be a good way to start using RoboForm on a single device. If you want your password manager available across multiple devices, such as your desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone, look at RoboForm’s current Premium options.

Features and prices can change, so I recommend checking RoboForm’s current information before deciding which option works best for you.

Password management becomes even more important when you’re building an online business.

You may have logins for your website, hosting account, email marketing service, social media platforms, payment services, advertising accounts, and other business tools.

Keeping those accounts organized while using different passwords can become difficult very quickly.

That’s one reason I’ve found RoboForm useful in my own online activities. It helps me keep my logins organized without depending on my memory for every password.

Using a password manager can be a helpful part of protecting your online accounts, but it shouldn’t be your only security measure.

Whenever possible, consider using multi-factor authentication, keeping your devices and software updated, watching for phishing emails and fake login pages, and avoiding sharing passwords with other people.

Your Master Password also deserves special attention. Make it strong and unique, and don’t reuse it as the password for another account.

For me, RoboForm has made managing passwords much easier.

Instead of trying to remember login information for every website I use, I can keep my credentials organized and generate stronger, unique passwords when I need them.

If you’re constantly resetting forgotten passwords, keeping passwords written in different places, or reusing the same password because it’s easier to remember, a password manager may be worth exploring.
